Marie Janice is a legal and transactional risk professional specializing in cross-border M&A, regulatory risk, and corporate governance.

Based in Amsterdam, she evaluates complex legal, financial, regulatory, and social risks associated with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. Her work involves detailed due diligence, assessment of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks, and analysis of risk allocation in transactions. Prior to this role, she gained extensive legal experience through several M&A-focused positions at French law firms.

This experience has developed her ability to evaluate opportunities, understand different business environments, and facilitate discussions between parties with diverse commercial and regulatory interests.

She holds a degree in Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris Law School, with a focus on international law, cross-border M&A, corporate governance, and anti-corruption frameworks, and a degree in Political Science and Philosophy from York University in Toronto, Canada.
